[Feature request] Hold Shift while dragging an arrow pointer could snap to 45 degrees increment

#1

Hi there!

I don’t if my request is clear in the title. I’ve seen several design applications that, when rotating an object, support holding the Shift key to force 45 degrees rotation increments only. the mouse “snaps” to those increments while dragging.

This could be a nice behavior to have with the new 3.3 version of arrows now that there is no easy way to make a straight arrow, vertically or horizontally.

Thanks!

Makes sense to me, @sgiroux. I will get it added to the feature tracker

In the interim, if you want a straight line, you can double click on the center anchor of the arrow, and it will snap back into a straight line.

As always, thanks for constantly having awesome suggestions for us!

Yup, I saw the tooltip on the arrow. Thanks
