Highlighting objects in mockup as a markup

Hi all,

This is my first forum post here so please go easy on me. :slightly_smiling:

I’ve created a mockup and it has a list of selection entries, which when selected will open up a sub-view on the screen (views with a parent/child relationship effectively) . I want to show on the mockup which row has been highlighted, I’ve done this using a checkbox next to the line but what I’d really like is to be able to show a rectangular semi-translucent box around the row. Here is what I currently have:

I can use a rectangle and set the border and fill and opacity to get roughly the desired result, but I’d like to see almost a highlighter pen tool under Markup which looks a bit like “Line of Text” but with the ability to set opacity and colour.

Hope this makes sense?

This is an interesting idea @andrewjamesgriffin, and definitely fits into the markup category.

I’ll bring it up with the team and see what they think!

Thanks for taking the time to write a really detailed post for this. I will make sure the team sees it
