What is this nonesense with giant panels all over my screen? Sure- I can hide them, but then there is no way to use the application. I have less than one third of my screen real estate usable to edit a mockup now! Do I really need to go to the view menu and hide and unhide the left and right side panels (Navigator and Inspector) every 30 seconds?
Someone should have used a wireframing application to try this out before releasing it…
I’m sorry that you aren’t digging the new interface, @whathappened, that’s definitely not the outcome we wanted.
I usually find myself mocking up wireframes with everything hidden, and then using the keyboard shortcuts to reveal/hide the various panels.
Once you get used to it, I think that will be a much more manageable way to control your space, rather than having to navigate around the floating property inspector from version 2.
Mixing that with the quick draw feature we added to version 3; I find myself able to mock up wireframes super quickly.
That being said, we’d love to get some more feedback from you about the experience. Nothing is ever finished, and we would love to talk about any changes you’d like to see.
Of course, if you are using Mockups for Desktop, you can go back to using version 2 by downloading it from our archives.
