{mockup-name} shorthand does not work in B3 beta

#1

Steps:

  1. Create a label
  2. Add the text {mockup-name} to the label.

Expected:
The name of the mockup is added to the label.

Actual:
The text {mockup-name} is rendered.

Hi @benjohnson

Thanks! This is something that should work. We’ll fix it.

#3

This should be fixed in build 999.69 and higher.

#4

I just installed version 3.2.2 and am still seeing this behavior as benjohnson describes. Thanks!

#5

Looks like we broke something with the label in 3.2.2, that macro should work with other text fields.

Thanks for the heads up @heatherl. We will get it fixed!

#6

I have the same problem in 3.2.4.

Hi @PhilippQF,

Sorry for the hassle with this one.

We fixed it in our latest pre-release version available here if needed: https://balsamiq.com/download/next/

Just a word of caution here: as this is a pre-release version, we don’t recommend using it on mission-critical work. The fix will also be included in our next official release.

Thanks for the report!

Thanks! Looking forward to it, but I’ll wait for the official version.
