No valid files to import

I’ve searched the forum for an answer to my question but couldn’t find any.
When I want to open a certain project file (.bmpr), nothing happens.
If I drag it into Balsamiq Mockups, a little pop up at the lower right corner says “no valid files to import”.

I have created the project by importing older .bmml-files and then started adding new mockups.
After I saved it multiple times, I closed Balsamiq. No problem here.

But when I now try to open it, nothing happens and the project also no longer listed under “recent projects”.

I’ve put many hours in this project and don’t want to create it from scratch.
Is there anything, I could do?

I’m using Balsamiq Mockups 3 (Versin: 3.0.8.) on Windows 8.

I was a little too hasty
It’s now working again, after reinstalling Balsamiq and rebooting the computer

Hi @LeJo,

Sorry for the hassle today and thanks for keeping us in the loop!

I assume you installed the latest version (3.4.2) in the process right?
You can download it here if not. Aside from adding some nice features and bug fixes, we implemented a new backup system that might be really helpful.

Please let us know if you need anything else, we’re always happy to help however we can!
